The individual believed to be responsible for the tragic shooting incident at Club Q, an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado, has expressed their intention to plead guilty, Your Content has learned.
The suspect, Anderson Lee Aldrich, aged 23, revealed this during a court hearing on Monday morning. Aldrich, who identifies as nonbinary and prefers they/them pronouns, would face charges for the murder of five individuals.
In addition, they would also plead guilty to 46 counts of attempted first-degree murder and no-contest to bias-motivated crimes relating to the incident.
The proposed deal would entail Aldrich receiving five consecutive life sentences, ensuring they will spend the remainder of their life in prison without the possibility of parole.
As the story unfolds, further updates will be provided, according to CNN.
