Kevin Costner has filed court documents claiming that his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, is seeking an exorbitant $248,000 per month in child support, using questionable expenses, including her own plastic surgery, Your Content has learned.
According to Costner’s forensic accountant, Baumgartner’s list of expenses is outrageous, with over $100,000 attributed to cosmetic surgery.
Additional expenses, such as substantial boutique shopping bills, large ATM withdrawals, and unrelated attorney’s fees, are being contested by Costner’s representatives, who argue that they have no relevance to child support.
Moreover, there are one-time expenses, like construction loans, that are unrelated to the financial support of the children.
Costner asserts that he has been fully covering all expenses for the children and will continue to do so. Presently, he pays $51,940 per month, which he considers a reasonable amount.
In recent developments, Baumgartner has agreed to vacate the family home by the end of August and secure her own residence.
On July 5, Costner’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, will attend a court hearing to ensure Baumgartner’s compliance with the agreed-upon timeline.
At the hearing, Baumgartner plans to challenge the validity of the prenuptial agreement, while Wasser intends to defend its binding nature, according to TMZ.
